History

The Corfu Football Association (EPSK) is the governing body of football in the prefecture of Corfu.
It is based in the city of Corfu and is a member of the Hellenic Football Federation (E.P.O.).
It is responsible for the conduct of the local championship and cup, as well as the youth and children's championships.
It also coordinates the activities of the mixed youth and children's teams, which represent the prefecture at national level.

The Corfu Football Association (PEK) previously existed on the island, responsible for the sport of football in the region. It was re-established on 17 August 1947 after its archives were destroyed by bombing during World War II.
Founding members were Aris, Asteras, Hellispontos, Olympos, PAOK and Pankerkyraikos.
In 1950 it was renamed "Corfu Football Clubs Association", while it was officially founded in 1952.
Specifically, on March 28, 1952 it was recognized by the EPO as a category C association.
Until 1984 and the establishment of the E.P.S. Thesprotia, the clubs of Thesprotia also belonged to the Association.
